It’s shaping up to be an action-packed celebration of running: for the first time ever, the Great Bristol 10k and Half Marathon are taking place on the very same day. While the Great Bristol Family Run will give budding running stars their own shot at glory.

The event is famous for its buzzing atmosphere, cheering crowds, and lively music and entertainment zones. There will also be Covid secure measures in place to keep runners safe.

After a hard year, the thrill of running through Bristol’s streets and the feeling of crossing the finish line at Millennium Square is set to be even more special.

Renowned for being fast, flat and a great opportunity to achieve a personal best, this year’s event is no different with a new route taking runners of a tour of the city centre. The event showcases some of Bristol’s best bits, passing iconic landmarks including the stunning Queen’s Square, Prince Street Bridge, Harbourside and the historic Castle Park.

The greatest reward in taking part is the sense of achievement as you cross the finish line, but a shiny new medal, a snazzy finisher’s t-shirt and a finisher’s bag filled with goodies will also await you at the end of the run.
