Donate in Memory

heart drawn in the sand

After losing a loved one, everyone finds their own personal way to cope.

Sometimes it’s comforting to focus on something positive at the most difficult of times. Raising money in celebration of your loved one allows you to share wonderful memories of them with family and friends while supporting Bristol Children’s Hospital and St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

How you choose to fundraise will be very personal to you and your loved one’s memory. To help you, here are some ideas of what other people have found rewarding and fitting. Whether you choose one of the suggestions or come up with your own activity, that’s right for you, we will be here to support you, every step of the way.

Here are some of the ways you can donate in memory of someone:

  • Memorial collections

Celebrate the life of a loved one by collecting donations in lieu of flowers at a funeral or memorial service.

  • Star Tribute Fund

Create a lasting tribute in your loved one’s name.

  • Visit our virtual Star Tribute Sky

We’ve created a special site dedicated to the lasting memory of our Star Tribute Funds.

  • Hold your own event

Organise your own fundraising event in memory of a loved one

  • Donate

Make a one-off donation or set up a monthly in-memory donation.

  • Take part in one of our events

From dress-down days to running and even skydiving, we have an event to suit everyone.
