Beat the Brain Surgeon® is back for 2026!
Do you think your team has what it takes to outsmart some of Bristol’s brightest minds? Enjoy an evening of friendly competition, top-tier quizzing, an exciting raffle and delicious dining at Bristol Grand Hotel, all in support of Bristol Children’s Hospital.
This is not your average pub quiz. Dress to impress in black tie and bring your sharpest wits for an unforgettable evening of rivalry, entertainment and generosity.
Businesses from across the South West will go head-to-head with the Neurosurgery team at Bristol Children’s Hospital. The surgeons are returning this year determined to claim the 2026 title after their previous defeat. Will your team be the one to stop them?
In 2023, The Grand Appeal launched the very first Beat the Brain Surgeon® at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery. It was a cracking night that raised an incredible amount for sick children and their families.
Far from your average pub quiz, our 2023 flagship event featured a round from Wallace himself, voiced by the incredibly talented Ben Whitehead. Guests were also treated to a live model-making demonstration from ‘Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’ director, Merlin Crossingham. While you’ll be testing your knowledge against some of Bristol brightest minds, expect a few surprises at this one-of-a-kind quiz evening.
Your legendary hosts for 2026 are Bristol favourites, Alex Lovell and Seb Choudhury. They’ll keep the energy high and the questions coming as you compete to be crowned Bristol’s smartest team.
With rounds that test teamwork, creativity and knowledge, expect grand prizes throughout the night, plus the coveted title and bragging rights that last long after the evening ends.
Every ticket purchased and raffle entry helps The Grand Appeal to fund lifesaving equipment for critically ill babies and children, supporting pioneering research and provide family accommodation when it matters most.
Show us what you’re made of and enjoy an unforgettable evening while helping to support Bristol Children’s Hospital.
