Superstar supporters Wainhomes certainly got their fundraising into full swing after raising an amazing £7,500 for Bristol Children’s Hospital through a cracking golf tournament!
Over 120 golfers attended, all wanting to tee off for charity.
Based in Severn Valley, Wainhomes have proved charity begins at home. Their incredible fundraising total will help support families of some of the region’s sickest patients cared for by the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Wainhomes’ fantastic fundraising efforts will support the refurbishment of the parent kitchen on PICU, which treats 800 critically ill patients a year.
Imagine the stress of sitting at your child’s bedside as they fight for their life. This kitchen will provide parents with more than just a chance for a quick cuppa. It will provide them with a comfortable space to relax or have a quiet moment of reflection and a valuable opportunity to meet other families going through similarly tough times. A big thank you to Wainhomes’ for enabling us to refresh this invaluable facility.
