In Gromit Unleashed 2, Nick Park’s Academy Award®-winning character Gromit returned to Bristol for his second starring role, but this time he was not alone; the loveable pooch was joined by his pal Wallace and arch nemesis Feathers McGraw!

The countdown is on.

A new Gromit Unleashed trail is returning to Bristol. Summer 2025.

This trail featured over 60 giant sculptures designed by high-profile artists, designers, innovators, and local talent. Sculptures were positioned in high footfall and iconic locations around Bristol and the surrounding area, making the perfect family day out around Bristol and beyond.

  • Merry-Go-Gromit

    For children, the classic carousel is a magical voyage; for adults, it’s a nostalgic ride through their youth. A wistful memory of half-timbered horses bounding at a seaside fair. A relaxing ride if you’ve go nowhere to go, ‘Merry-Go-Gromit’ is inspired by the lights, mirrors, cheerful tunes, and a colourful hand-carved prancing steeds of a simpler time. Designed with a sparkly update, this dazzling sculpture is designed by artist Emily Golden! You can find this theme park pony galloping in sponsor Puxton Park.

    Ever wished you could be in two places at once? Well now, thanks to the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bristol, you can! All of our sculptures are designed to be completely one-of-a-kind and unique, but we had to make an exception for this perfect pairing! ‘Oceans 1: Deep Blue’ and ‘Oceans 2: Yellow Sub’ were designed and painted by staff and students in the Communication Systems & Networks Group at the University, who drew on their wireless technology expertise. Check out the screens on their sides and allow yourself to be transported to another world! Or maybe just across the river to We The Curious… Make sure to wave to the camera so they can see you too! Thanks to Airbus for sponsoring this dynamic duo.
