Major Trauma Centre at Bristol Children's Hospital
Bristol Children's Hospital is home to the South West region’s dedicated Major Trauma Centre for children and babies. If any one of over 800,000 children or babies in the South West region is seriously injured, they are rushed to the children’s hospital by land or air ambulance, where specialists come together to ensure patients receive the immediate, lifesaving care they need. The team also deliver specialised nursing and rehabilitation to make sure the child and their family are as supported as possible on their journey to recovery.
The Grand Appeal is proud to work in partnership with the Major Trauma Centre team to provide life-saving equipment and patient and family facilities.
