We’ve been a part of the world’s largest gaming fundraiser, Jingle Jam, since 2017 and every year, we’re bowled over by the generosity of The Yogscast community.
This year was no different. In fact, in just 14 days, 2020’s live-streaming event has raised over £2 million for 12 amazing charities, including over £280,000 for us, The Grand Appeal!
Lewis Brindley – co-founder of The Yogscast and Jingle JamWe really did not know how this year would go and we’re just overjoyed that yet again, the gaming community has turned out on mass to raise such an incredible amount for charity.
This year’s donations have taken the total amount raised to an astonishing £1.1 million to support sick children, families and staff at Bristol Children’s Hospital and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. How incredible is that?
Jingle Jam’s incredible total will help sick children from across the South West and beyond.
Lewis Brindley – co-founder of The Yogscast and Jingle JamWe’ve been working with The Grand Appeal since 2017 and it’s amazing for us to be able to make a difference to the lives of sick children that are on our doorstep, here in Bristol.
At the end of what has been a challenging fundraising year, Jingle Jam has surpassed our expectations. It has been an incredible 14-days, watching the totem go up every hour as the gaming community came together to show their generosity this Christmas.
We are so grateful to everyone for their support and cannot wait to work with The Yogscast and Jingle Jam team again to hit our overall target of £2million to fund further ground-breaking facilities for Bristol Children’s Hospital. Watch this space.
