Wrong Trousers Day Schools Competition Terms & Conditions 

The competition is for the best dressed school on Wallace & Gromit’s Wrong Trousers Day – on Friday 1 July. Entries should be sent to events@grandappeal.org.uk or shared on social media tagging @thegrandappeal and or #WrongTrousersDay on Facebook, X or Instagram.  

The prize is a performance by Nutty Noah, children’s entertainer, for the winning school.  

The competition will be announced on 10 June, and entries will be accepted until 12 pm on Tuesday 5 July.  

The winner will be announced on Friday 8 July.  

The competition will be judged by a member of the Aardman Animations team 

By entering this competition, you accept that you have an appropriate legal basis to share photos with The Grand Appeal and our partners at Aardman. We will request consent from the winning school to share on Grand Appeal channels and with the press.  

The prize is a performance by Nutty Noah. It can only be redeemed for use under the following conditions: 

It must be a private function/event and cannot be used to promote any other commercial/political or charitable agenda (unless agreed by The Grand Appeal). 

The event should not be commercialised in any way, unless it is in aid of The Grand Appeal. 

Be within 30 miles of Bristol Children’s Hospital. 

The date and time of the performance is to be negotiated and agreed with Nutty Noah. 

NB: you will agree on separate Terms & Conditions with Nutty Noah in relation to the booking. 

There will be no alternatives to the prize as stated above. 

The prize draw is open to UK schools, excluding schools that employ relatives of The Grand Appeal staff. 

Only one entry per school. 

One winner will be chosen. 

The winner will be informed via email or telephone within 72 hours of the closing date and will need to respond within 48 hours or a new winner will be chosen. 

The winner’s name will be announced on social media after acknowledgement from the winner. 

The promoter is Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation (known as Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal/The Grand Appeal).  

By participating in this competition, entrants confirm they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 

Contact information will be kept until after the draw has taken place, after which it will be destroyed.
