Helen Javes | Studio Flora and Fauna
Consisting of felt work within a cup and saucer, Helen said of her 3D piece, “Set Dressers found this cup and saucer in a dark corner of the Aardman studios. Left for many years in a unique environment of animators, lost thoughts and filmatic fluff, a micro-climate has evolved. Biopsy samples would indicate that the flora and fauna have evolved from a half-finished cup of Earl Grey with a touch of rich tea biscuit!”
Helen is a Senior Prop Maker at Aardman, having worked on Pirates, Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and most recently, the Coldplay video ‘Daddy’.
