Nick is the four times Oscar-winning Director of Aardman Animations, the creator of Wallace & Gromit, a Patron and Trustee of The Grand Appeal, and the brains behind the Gromit Unleashed project which began all the way back in summer 2013.

Peter Lord CBE
Peter who as co-founder of Aardman and our charity’s chairman has been involved with us from the very beginning! Back in 2016 Peter visited the Bristol Children’s Hospital to present the first set of gifts to staff and patients to celebrate The Grand Appeal’s 21st anniversary! Peter said: “the money raised has made an enormous difference to the lives of these young patients, and I am very proud of the part that Aardman and Wallace & Gromit have had to play in that success.”
