There’s something fishy at Bristol Children’s Hospital

Here at The Grand Appeal, we work together with Bristol’s wealth of creative talent to produce a diverse and exciting Arts Programme at Bristol Children’s Hospital.

In one of our latest projects, visual artist Jan asked patients, families and staff to paint their very own fish as part of a shimmering shoal now installed at the Activities Centre.

Gleaming in the light, this family of fish all have a distinctive identity thanks to the artistic efforts of Bristol Children’s Hospital. If you look closely, you might even spot some rather unusual sea creatures passing by.

Jan has been visiting the children’s hospital for over two years. With her help, we can make hospital a happier experience and support children in dealing with the stresses that come with daily hospital life.

Wallace & Gromit's Wrong Trousers Day is back on Friday 21 June.
