Jingle Jam Returns for 2024!

The countdown is on! Jingle Jam 2024 is kicking off this December, and we’re thrilled to announce that we are once again a part of this incredible fundraising initiative.

This marks the eighth consecutive year that Jingle Jam is supporting Bristol Children’s Hospital, and we’re excited to continue our work together to make a real difference for sick children.

This morning, the dynamic duo, Lewis, founder of Jingle Jam, and YouTuber The Spiffing Brit, were spotted in Wallace & Gromit’s iconic motorbike and sidecar at Bristol’s iconic harbourside– a perfect way to ‘tea’ themselves up for two weeks of festive gaming and fundraising.

Every year in December, we turn our focus to raising as much money as possible for amazing charities, like Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal. The gaming industry comes together for the Jingle Jam to help create an incredible Games Collection to encourage gamers to dig deep and donate.

What is Jingle Jam?

Jingle Jam has become a holiday tradition for millions of gamers and content creators worldwide. This annual event brings together gamers from all corners of the internet to raise money for charity by playing video games, hosting live streams, and creating a sense of community.

Best of all, the Jingle Jam Games Collection features over 18 high quality games for a fraction of the price, thanks to the generosity of a brilliant bunch of games developers.

From 5pm on Sunday 1 December until Saturday 14 December, gamers around the world will unite for Jingle Jam 2024 in support of some incredible causes – including us! Since 2017, Jingle Jam has raised over £1.8 million for a project that will be the first of its kind in the UK – The Grand Appeal’s Patient Hotel.

The Patient Hotel will transform care for sick children across the South West and beyond.

The Spiffing Brit

This year, we’re excited to announce that The Spiffing Brit, a popular YouTuber with millions of fans, and his ‘communi-tea’ will be joining the Jingle Jam charity livestream to fundraise for Bristol Children’s Hospital.

You can join The Spiffing Brit and the rest of the Jingle Jam crew for hours of gaming fun – and don’t forget, your donations can help us hit our fundraising target for the Patient Hotel.

The Patient Hotel

The funds raised through Jingle Jam will go directly to support the Patient Hotel. This innovative facility will be called Jingle Jam Building in recognition of our long-standing partnership and to celebrate the generosity of the gaming community.

It will also provide accommodation and support for families of children undergoing medical treatment. It will be a game-changer for patients recovering from complex surgeries or undergoing neurorehabilitation.

We’ve been working with Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal since 2017 and it’s amazing for us to be at a point where all that fundraising is about to be turned into an incredible reality with the Patient Hotel. We want this year to be bigger than ever to help reach that all important fundraising target, and to do this we need everyone’s help in spreading the word. The more people that hear about Jingle Jam – the more we can raise.

The hotel will be the first of its kind in the UK, bringing together accommodation, therapy, and rehabilitation under one roof. It will provide a vital lifeline for families, offering a space where they can stay together while their child receives the ongoing care they need.

You can join the Jingle Jam fun in plenty of ways. Support Bristol Children by starting your own stream. It doesn’t even have to be PC games, you can cook, paint, sing-along, anything that you love doing.

Or choose The Grand Appeal as your chosen charity when donating £35 or more and receive the Jingle Jam Games Collection.
