DreamWorks Animation Joins the Dream Line Up…  

Gromit Unleashed 3 wouldn’t be a celebration of all-things cinema without DreamWorks Animation on board. With just days until the trail hits the streets, another A-lister has been revealed at Aardman HQ’s very own cinema… Fresh from her starring role in the DreamWorks hit film “Trolls”, meet ‘Poppy’!  

Meet ‘Poppy’… 

The pink and plucky ‘Poppy’ has been designed in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation. Fresh from her starring role in the DreamWorks hit film “Trolls”, Poppy radiates positivity and energy with her blue and green dress, flower accessories and a mop of her trademark pink fuzzy hair – a first for a Gromit Unleashed sculpture! 

“Trolls” took the screen by storm when it premiered back in 2016. The film follows a kingdom of happy-go-lucky trolls who love hugs and good singing songs. But trouble is never far behind. Poppy and her friends are pursued by miserable creatures called Bergens, who believe the only way to feel happy is by eating the trolls! 

This latest creation from DreamWorks and The Grand Appeal joins the roll call of artists, film studios, directors, celebrities and local artists featuring in the much-awaited trail. Recently announced designs also include sculptures inspired by Netflix’s Wednesday and Roald Dahl’s classic story The BFG. 

With the trail running from Monday 30 June to Friday 31 August, the spotlight is ready to shine on our all-star cast of celebrity partners, film directors, studios and global superstar brands. Get ready for a red carpet-worthy rollout like no other… Watch this space.  

Where Can You Find ‘Poppy’? 

A crossover between two of the world’s most beloved animation studios, ‘Poppy’ is ready to impress the crowds at sponsors Puxton Park, between the 30 June and 31 August. Just don’t tell the Bergens…
