Bristol’s biggest running event returns on Sunday 10 May.

Are you ready for a cracking weekend of running? Grab your trainers, and register your interest for the 2026 10k or half marathon today.

Whether it’s your first running event or you’re an accomplished runner, the crowds will be ready to cheer you on.

The Great Bristol Run is guaranteed to be an unforgettable event, as each route takes runners through iconic Bristol landmarks, such as the harbourside and Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Music hosted by local musicians will even help you dance to the finish line, with different songs each step of the way. It’s undoubtedly a weekend you won’t forget!

Great Bristol Run was a personal challenge that I enjoyed, not only for myself, but for knowing how much good the money I raised would do for Bristol Children’s Hospital.

This route is 13.1 miles long and takes you around the stunning inner city, Spike Island and Avon Gorge.

The perfect route for those beginning or wanting to test themselves, you’ll join the half marathon runners after they’ve travelled through Avon Gorge.
