Gromit Unleashed 3 – Santabot Sculpture Raffle  – Terms & Conditions

WIN a ‘Santabot’ Sculpture 
Friday 21 November 2025 – Saturday 10 January 2026 

1. Promoter and Licensing 

1.1. The registered Responsible Person is Nicola Masters, The Grand Appeal, 30–32 Upper Maudlin Street, Bristol, BS2 8DJ. 
1.2. The Grand Appeal Society Lottery is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 4932, in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005. 
1.3. Gromit Unleashed® is a registered trademark of The Grand Appeal. All rights reserved. 
1.4. The ‘Santabot’prize is a Norbot sculpture, produced under licence from Aardman Animations Ltd, created exclusively for the Gromit Unleashed 3 arts trail. 

2. Purpose of the Raffle 

2.1. All profits from the raffle will be used to support the work of The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity (registered charity number 1043603). 
2.2. Proceeds from this raffle will specifically support The Grand Appeal’s new Patient Hotel development. Further information is available on the Charity’s website. 

3. Entry Requirements 

3.1. Tickets cost £2 each, with a maximum purchase of  50 tickets per person. 
3.2. Payments cannot be made using CAF vouchers or credit cards. 
3.3. Entrants must be 18 years or over and must be residents of Great Britain. 
3.4. Proof of age is required and will be verified through the People’s Fundraising platform. 
3.5. Trustees and employees of The Grand Appeal are not eligible to enter. 

4. How to Enter 

4.1. Tickets may be purchased online at grandappeal.org.uk/santabot-raffle
4.2. The raffle entry confirmation email acts as your ticket. Please retain it as proof of purchase. 
4.3. The Charity accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged, illegible or corrupted entries or for any technical issues affecting entry. 

5. Closing Date and Draw 

5.1. Ticket sales close at 7:00pm on Saturday 10 January 2026. 
5.2. The draw will take place at 7:45pm on Saturday 10 January 2026 using the random selection generator on the People’s Fundraising raffle platform. 
5.3. One prize is available: 

5.4. Based on a comparable Christmas raffle with 1,832 tickets sold, the estimated chance of winning is approximately 1 in 1,832  (figures may vary). 
5.5. The results of the draw are final and there are no prize alternatives. 

6. Winner Notification and Prize Collection 

6.1. The winner will be announced live during the Vee Dubs Christmas Dubs event livestream on 10 January 2026 at 7:45pm. 
6.2. The winner will also be contacted by email and telephone after the draw. 
6.3. The prize must be collected in person from The Mall at Cribbs Causeway from Saturday 17 January 2026. 
6.4. The winner must present: 

6.5. If the prize has not been claimed by 10 February 2026, or if adequate ID cannot be provided, The Grand Appeal may reallocate the prize at its discretion. 
6.6. The winner is responsible for transporting the sculpture from the collection point. 

7. Use of Name, Image and Publicity 

7.1. The Charity may request a photo, interview, or short quote from the winner to help promote future fundraising draws and/or The Grand Appeal charity or its brands.  
7.2. The Charity may publish the winner’s first name and approximate location (e.g. “Jane from Bristol”). 

8. Participant Responsibilities 

8.1. Entrants are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date contact information. The Charity cannot accept liability for inability to contact a winner due to incorrect information. 
8.2. The Charity may reject entries or re-award the prize if an entrant breaches these Terms, acts fraudulently, or behaves unlawfully. 

9. Cancellation or Suspension 

9.1. The Charity reserves the right to cancel, suspend or terminate the raffle due to circumstances beyond its control. 
9.2. In the event of an error affecting the raffle (including printing or technical errors), the Charity may administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred and will notify entrants where appropriate. 

10. Refunds 

10.1. Entrants found to be under 18 will have their payments returned. 
10.2. No other refunds will be issued. 

11. Exclusions and Limitations of Liability 

11.1. The Charity is not liable for: 
(a) any errors or omissions in written or oral information, 
(b) any implied warranties or conditions (unless legally required), or 
(c) any acts or omissions relating to the raffle. 
11.2. Any claim is limited to the raffle ticket price. 
11.3. The Charity is not liable for consequential or indirect losses. 

12. Restrictions on Use of the Prize 

The Santabot sculpture forms part of the Gromit Unleashed 3 event and is subject to strict usage rules to protect the intellectual property of Aardman Animations and The Grand Appeal. 

12.1. The winner must not, directly or indirectly: 
(a) Use or associate the sculpture to promote political, quasi-political, ideological or charitable causes other than The Grand Appeal (registered charity no 1043603) 
(b) Associate the sculpture with any campaign, organisation or messaging unrelated to or other than The Grand Appeal. 
(c) Use the sculpture in any manner that may harm the reputation of The Grand Appeal or Aardman Animations. 

12.2. The prize is non-transferable and may not be sold, exchanged, auctioned or otherwise monetised without the prior written consent of The Grand Appeal. 

12.3. The winner may not reproduce, replicate, film, photograph for commercial use, merchandise, or otherwise exploit the sculpture or its likeness without written consent. 

12.4. Receiving the sculpture does not transfer or grant any copyright, trademark or intellectual property rights. All IP remains the property of Aardman Animations Ltd and/or The Grand Appeal. 

12.5. Any goodwill generated from permitted display or publicity belongs exclusively to The Grand Appeal. 

13. Intellectual Property Rights 

13.1. All intellectual property rights in the sculpture, its likeness, branding and design rest solely with The Grand Appeal and/or Aardman Animations Ltd. 
13.2. No licence, permission or right is granted to the winner beyond private enjoyment of the artwork. 
13.3. Commercial, promotional or marketing use in any form (including digital content) is strictly prohibited without written consent. 

14. Winner’s Indemnity 

14.1. The winner shall indemnify and keep indemnified The Grand Appeal and Aardman Animations against all losses, claims, costs, damages and expenses arising from: 
(a) Any breach of these Terms, 
(b) Any act or omission by the winner or third parties, 
(c) Injury, damage or loss to people or property connected with the sculpture or its display, 
(d) Any misuse of the sculpture. 

14.2. The Grand Appeal accepts no responsibility or liability in connection with the sculpture except in cases of proven negligence. 

15. Additional Provisions 

15.1. Complaints will be handled in accordance with The Grand Appeal’s complaints policy (available on request). 
15.2. Entrants may request self-exclusion from The Grand Appeal Society Lottery at any time using the Self-Exclusion Form. 
15.3. All images and materials relating to the raffle are the copyright of The Grand Appeal. 
15.4. If any clause is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. 
15.5. These Terms are governed by English law and the Courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction.
