)Gromit Unleashed 3 takes place in Bristol, UK, with sculptures in iconic locations across the city and the surrounding area. See our complete list of locations.

We are working with our friends at First Bus, GWR and Severnside Community Rail Partnership to support trail goers to visit their favourite sculptures sustainably. Visit our website to find everything you need to plan a Grand Day Out, including travel timetables and information about our app and map.

Using the Gromit Unleashed 3 app, you’ll also be able to see the closest bus stops and train stations to each sculpture, making it even easier to explore the trail by public transport.

And don’t forget – kids under 16 can travel free on buses across Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset this summer holiday! Yes – you can visit many of the sculptures this summer with the help of First Bus, GWR and Severnside Community Rail Partnership. While not every sculpture is directly accessible by public transport, most of the trail can be reached this way.

Use our website to plan your journey with travel timetables and tips. And with the Gromit Unleashed 3 app, you can see the closest bus stops and train stations to each sculpture to make getting around even easier.

Yes! If you’re interested in giving a fur-ever home to one of the sculptures, you won’t want to miss our grand auction in October. Register your interest early if you’d like to attend or bid online.

We were overwhelmed with sculpture suggestions for locationsacross the City of Bristol and the surrounding area.  For everyone to enjoy the trail, we’ve prioritised locations across the city – north, south, east and west – so that visitors can enjoy some of the best sights the city has to offer.

We hope you enjoy your visit while discovering some hidden gems in Bristol. Please support The Grand Appeal when you are out and about so that we can raise as much money as possible for sick babies and children.

Sculptures located in outdoor spaces are generally pet-friendly, but please check individual locations before travelling for sculptures within attractions.

A large percentage of sculptures are available 24 hours a day, but some, which are located in indoor locations, attractions or pub gardens, are subject to opening times. Please check opening times on our website.

Some will be privately owned, while others may be on public display in and around Bristol.

Gromit Unleashed sculptures from the trail will be auctioned in October to raise money for The Grand Appeal. Gromit Unleashed sculptures have previously sold for between £10,000 and £65,000 at auction.

Do you have questions about the Gromit Unleashed 3 app? Here’s a helpful self-help guide with everything you need to know.

The app, which costs £2.49, is available for download from the App Store and Google Play.

All profits from purchasing our app will go to The Grand Appeal.

Follow the map, find the sculpture, and enter the four-digit code on its plaque. A pop-up will appear, and your sculpture picture will change from black and white to colour. This will be added to your sculpture collection. Find the ‘Sculpture’ button at the bottom of the app.

We’d love for everyone to visit all the sculptures and enjoy the trail, but if you run out of time and wish to complete your collection, you can find all the sculpture codes by buying tickets for the Greatest Dog Show on Earth.

Our exciting exhibition will be the only time all sculptures can be seen together before they are auctioned and taken to their forever homes.

If you have any functionality issues within the app or have lost your trail progress and want to complete the trail, you can collect all sculpture codes at the Greatest Dog Show on Earth. Our grand exhibition is your last chance to see all 53 sculptures.

You can find nearby sculptures by using the in-built app map and looking for nearby sculpture pins. For more detailed instructions on how to get to the next sculpture, tap the location link under the sculpture name to use your default map app to navigate.

If you’re already at a sculpture and want to find others nearby, scroll to the bottom of the sculpture page, and you will see which sculptures are on the same mini trail.

You can see your sculpture and award progress on the two tracking wheels on the homepage. Tap these or the tabs at the bottom of the screen for more detailed information about your collection progress.  All the sculptures you’ve collected will be in colour, and the ones remaining will be in black and white.

Your recovery code was created when you purchased the app and can be found at the bottom of the menu under the three blue lines. Keep note of this code to recover your account in case you ever reset, lose or change your device.

If you have lost your recovery code and have lost access to the app, you can email comms@grandappeal.org.uk from the email you signed up with, and we will send you your code.
