What a night to remember and what a way to celebrate 30 incredible years of The Grand Appeal.
The Gromit Unleashed 3 Auction, in partnership with Cribbs Mall, brought the curtain down on a summer of sculpture-spotting with a spectacular fundraising total of…
£2,000,000!

Led by the world-renowned auctioneer Helena Newman, Chairman of Sotheby’s Europe and Impressionist & Modern Art Worldwide, more than 50 unique sculptures, including ‘Yellow Submarine’ in collaboration with Paul McCartney, Pixar’s Gromit Woody, Netflix’s Wednesday and a rare Banksy print, went under the hammer in front of a packed audience and thousands watching from across the globe.
This landmark total marks a fitting milestone for our 30th anniversary year, helping us continue our mission to transform the lives of sick children and babies cared for at Bristol Children’s Hospital and St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Funds will power pioneering research, ground-breaking facilities like our Patient Hotel, life-saving equipment, family accommodation, arts, music and play programmes and much more for the next generation of patients and families.
From everyone at The Grand Appeal, thank you to our bidders, viewers, sponsors, artists and volunteers for making this our most unforgettable auction yet. It’s with your help, we can give sick children across the South West a brighter future.
