National Friendly

Insurance firm National Friendly raised over £14,000 for The Grand Appeal in 2015 through our Charity of the Year Partnership. Staff members got involved in a wide range of events in support of the charity, including bike rides, cake sales, a corporate quiz night and also took on the 36-mile Limestone Link walk. National Friendly were inspired to support The Grand Appeal by Product Manager Neil Thompson, whose granddaughter Freya, now 6, was a patient at Bristol Children’s Hospital as a baby.

The Entertainer and Pennies

The UK’s largest independent toy retailer, The Entertainer, has raised over £100,000 from customers using the digital charity box, Pennies, for The Grand Appeal.  Pennies invites customers to make small donations by rounding up their purchases to the nearest pound when they pay by card. Since its launch, an incredible £500,000 has been raised nationally!

Burges Salmon

Lawyers and staff at leading UK law firm Burges Salmon chose the Grand Appeal as its charity of the year for 2012, setting an ambitious target of £50,000. Through a series of exciting events such as skydiving, cycling, baking and even ballroom dancing, they surpassed this by more than £30,000 - reaching a staggering total of £84,387.42!
