A Cracking Cycle!

Ian's daughter Eilidh has just celebrated her fifth birthday. A birthday he and his wife Desiree thought she might never see.

Eilidh was born unable to swallow due to a rare congenital condition that affects the oesophagus and trachea. She was rushed immediately to St Michael's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, miles from home. Whilst their daughter received urgent treatment, Ian and Desiree had nowhere to stay, making an already traumatic situation only harder. Much to their relief, they were offered a room at Cots for Tots House just minutes away from little Eilidh. Growing stronger by the day, Eilidh remained on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 5 weeks.

Eilidh needed urgent treatment

Flash forward to 2019 and this bubbly and bright girl can be found keeping mum and dad on their toes. To mark Eilidh's fifth birthday and wanting to say thank you to the team that changed his girl's life, Ian is set to embark on three mammoth rides, including our Land's End to Bristol Cycle and Nightrider Bristol.
