A Cracking Cycle!
Bristol Nightrider is back on Saturday 6 July and who better to tell you about it than 2017 participant, Ian, who took on the unique challenge with five friends. Part of a 70 strong Grand Appeal and Cots for Tots team - the largest charity team taking part – Ian and his friends used their pedal power as a force for good, cycling from dusk until dawn.
“The experience was just brilliant; I enjoyed every moment. It's not a race, so that really took the pressure off and meant we all had such a laugh and could take in the sights of Bristol at night. I knew I wanted to do it all over again and couldn’t wait to sign up to this year’s event.”
Not only is Ian gearing up again for Nightrider on Saturday 6 July, but he is upping the ante with our Land's End to Bristol Cycle in September, putting his pedal power to the ultimate test to say thank you for the care his daughter received. Go Ian!
“I just want to give back. We arrived in Bristol 100 miles from home full of uncertainty but thanks to St Michael's NICU, Eilidh, our bright and bubbly girl just celebrated her fifth birthday.”
With a choice of a 50km or 100km route, Nightrider is an exceptional way of taking in Bristol's best known sights throughout the night, with a well-earned medal and breakfast waiting for you at the finish line.
Could you take up the challenge and cycle alongside him? Gear up and get ready – sign up to Nightrider today.
