Every gift in every will makes a huge difference to Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Whether or not you decide to leave a gift in your will to Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal, making a will and keeping it up to date will protect your loved ones and gives you control over what happens to your property and money.
Your first priority will of course be to look after your immediate family and friends. After that, you may consider leaving a gift to charity – could this be The Grand Appeal?
Making a will is not difficult or time consuming, and a simple will is not usually expensive; however it will ensure that, after you’ve gone, your property and money will be spent the way that you want.
Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal exists to improve the lives of the patients in Bristol Children’s Hospital, fundraising continually to improve the quality of life for patients and their families at the Bristol Children’s Hospital by providing much needed additional facilities, comforts and state of the art equipment.
You may have a child, relative or friend who has stayed in hospital as an inpatient; has been treated in the children’s emergency department; or has benefited from the work of the outreach service provided by the hospital. It may be that you yourself received treatment as a child.
Whatever your reasons, we hope that you will think about the needs of the future generations of patients in the children’s hospital by leaving a gift in your will to The Grand Appeal.
Gifts left in a will for a charity are free of inheritance tax, so you know we would receive the full benefit.
YOUR WILL IS YOUR GIFT TO THE FUTURE.
Providing for the future by making a will is a sensitive subject for us all but it cannot be overlooked. By making a gift in your will to Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal can make a difference to thousands of seriously ill children in the future.
