We’ve got lots of ideas how you can celebrate in style and support The Grand Appeal too!
- Get fit – start training for a 10K or Half Marathon
- Go Green – Got a new mobile phone? Recycle your old one for the Appeal
- Kick a bad habit – Give up smoking, drinking, junk food or any of your other vices – get in touch with the Appeal for your fundraising pack
- Clear out the attic – Why not get rid of your unwanted goods and sell them for the Appeal on Ebay
- Take on a challenge – and sign up for one of our Adventure challenges – Grand Treks: Overseas Challenges and Dragon Boat Race
- Make a difference this year and become a Guardian Angel of the Children’s Hospital
- Go paper-free – and request your Grand News via email. Just drop us a line at info@grandappeal.org.uk
Beat your fear of heights and sign up for a Parachute Jump, this is the experience of a lifetime that everyone should do once! Look out for our mass skydives each spring.
EASTER
Organise an egg hunt at nursery, school or in your local area, charge a small fee to enter, or ask participants to make a donation to the Appeal
SUMMER’S HERE!
Having a school fete or family fun day? Why not make the Appeal the beneficiary of your event. For your Fundraising Pack, get in touch with the Appeal or simply fill out an Event Registration Form to request whatever fundraising materials you might need.
BIRTHDAYS
If it’s your birthday and you’re having a party, why not hold a collection for the Grand Appeal. If you feel like you have everything you need then why not ask friends and family to make a donation to the Appeal on your behalf. We will send you out a certificate/card letting you know how much you raised from your birthday!
BONFIRE NIGHT
If you’re organising a bonfire or fireworks night in your local area or school, why not make the Appeal the beneficiary? Ask people to make a donation upon entering or sell hot dogs and hot chocolate to raise money.
WEDDINGS AND ANNIVERSARIES
If you’re celebrating your Wedding or Anniversary – congratulations! If you feel you have everything you need then why not ask your friends and family to make a donation to the Appeal on your behalf. We can keep track of how much was raised and let you know how your celebration made a difference to those who need it.
