Ready to sign up? Read about one of our ‘daredevils’ experience:
“On a glorious sunny Saturday over a tranquil airfield, a team of daredevils threw themselves out of an aircraft, dived towards the ground at 130mph – and loved every minute of it. Like most of the team, which was raising funds for the Grand Appeal, this was my first parachute jump. The whole experience from take-off to landing took just 20 minutes. But with the wide range of emotions covered, it seemed to last a lifetime. The skydiving itself is hard to describe in words alone. There’s not much you can compare it to, because nothing else measures up to the feeling of falling through the air at more than 130 miles per hour. What a feeling it was! Nothing I have ever done comes close to the intensity of free fall. So I got my adrenaline rush and lived through it, too. Would I do skydiving again? Absolutely!”
