Get planning for your
Christmas activities 2010!

Here are just a few of our ideas for fundraising in the workplace at Christmas time.

HOLD A CHRISTMAS BAKE-OFF
Invite workers to get baking and bring their mince pies, Christmas cake or other yummy treats into work for a grand ‘Bake-off’ where
colleagues vote for their favourite and the winner receives the kudos of being the master baker! Raise money for the Appeal by charging £1 to enter the Bake Off and by selling the cakes in the workplace.

HOST A CHRISTMAS QUIZ
Encourage staff to get competitive and enter a Christmas Quiz which can be held during lunch break, after work or to kick off your Christmas party. Charge each team to enter and we can provide you with some quiz questions for a special Wallace & Gromit round and Wallace & Gromit goodies for prizes.

FESTIVE FUNCTION
If you’re holding a Christmas party this year, there are many ways that you can make the Appeal a beneficiary. You can hold a raffle or
tombola, charge a nominal donation to get in, if you’re having a meal double the tip and give half to the Appeal or simply request money collection boxes for your party venue.

SACRIFICE YOUR SECRET SANTA
Agree with your colleagues to give up your secret santa presents and save time trawling around the shops for novelty gifts. Instead donate the money you’d usually spend to the Appeal and we’ll send you a certificate to display, acknowledging your festive good will!
